With the increased use of rubber liners in the construction of outdoor ponds comes the problem of securing the coping and veneering stones to the rubber.
See picture above.
Rubber is too smooth. Concrete needs something else to grab on to.
RockToRubber™ helps secure these incompatible materials. It is the only product of its kind, patented and proven! Learn more about RockToRubber.
First RocktoRubber pond, built in Austin, Texas in 2006.
A pond before the build, with rubber liner.
The pond after, every rock touching the pond liner is secured with RockToRubber™
How is it applied? Often pond builders will employ a technique called veneering. This means they will use thin pieces of rock to cover the visible sides of the pond. RockToRubber™ is perfect for this application to keep the stones from slipping down from their intended position.
Coping stones are another great use of RockToRubber™. By attaching the stones with concrete and using our product, the builder can provide a safe and sturdy foundation to any pond project.
